Only one association represents the interests of every subcontractor in the state of Massachusetts: ASM.
Founded in 1950, the Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts (ASM) today represents nearly 400 subcontractors as well as suppliers and affiliated organizations in Massachusetts and surrounding states. ASM is the only organization in the Commonwealth dedicated exclusively to the business issues affecting subcontractors, who perform more than 80% of the work on all commercial construction.
ASM members are construction professionals -- just like you.
Our members work in every specialty trade, from steel erection to painting, and in every related service industry, from insurance to accounting. ASM represents both union and open shops, and our member companies range in size from the smallest startup firms to the largest specialty contractors in the region. You will find ASM members on virtually every major building project in the Commonwealth, in both the public and private sector.

ASM Mission
ASM's mission is to protect and advance the interests of all subcontractors and suppliers and promote professionalism in public and private construction through education, communication and advocacy.
ASM is a proud member of the National Subcontractors Alliance (NSA), formed in 2002 to promote exchange of information between subcontractor organizations nationwide, and to foster opportunities for representation at the national level on industry issues. NSA is one of the nine organizational members of American Specialty Contractors (ASC).
