Legislation Committee
R. Lindsay Drisko, ENE Systems, Chair
- Help determine legislative priorities and strategies for ASM.
- Participate in ASM's grassroots efforts to get bills passed.
- Forge relationships with legislators to win their support for ASM bills.
Prompt Pay Task Force
Richard Fisher, Red Wing Construction, Chair
- Help build support in the industry and the legislature for ASM’s “prompt payment” bill.
- Propose other ways to address growing payment problems in the construction industry.
Membership Committee
Mike Kosiver, Lockheed Window Corp., Chair
- Develop creative ways to recruit and retain members.
- Help welcome new and prospective members to ASM.
- Propose new member benefits & services.
Editorial Committee
Greg Porfido, Mark Richey Woodworking
- Help determine editorial content for The Professional Contractor (TPC), ASM’s quarterly magazine.
- Suggest ways to improve TPC, as well as ASM’s other news communications (email and website).
Meetings & Programs Committee
Dwight Silvia, DDS Industries, Chair
- Decide topics and speakers for Member Meetings and Seminars, and consider creative new formats.
- Generate ideas for major new social / networking/ fundraising events.
Golf Committee
Steve Kenney, N.B. Kenney, Chair
- Help plan ASM's most important fundraiser -- 14th Annual Golf Tournament at Shaker Hills, June 11
- Determine fees, prizes, fees and giveaway items.
- Recruit sponsors, and help promote the event to subs, GCs and vendors.
Safety Committee
Paul McKay, Edward G. Sawyer Company, Chair
- Work with OSHA and Mass. DOS to deliver safety information and services to ASM members.
- Help plan seminars and informal roundtables to discuss safety issues.
Technology Committee
Eric Goldstein, Textura, Chair
- Discuss new technologies affecting construction today.
- Plan programs, roundtables and other activities to keep members informed on technology issues and trends.
